Affiliated Businesses

Check out these excellent programs!

Cycling BC is proud to support the many private businesses across the province who are offering youth cycling programs.

Affiliated businesses often provide after-school programs or school break activities in the flavor of our iRide program and are designed to get kids out on their bikes.

The programs are most often designed for intermediate riders who exhibit level 4+ abilities. Programs are designed and facilitated by local instructors, and often times numerous skill levels are welcome. Bicycles and other equipment may be available for rent.

Programs and events run by affiliated businesses are not covered by Cycling BC’s insurance. As a result, a Cycling BC membership or iRide mini-membership are not required to participate.  Affiliated businesses oversee the development of their staff, who may undergo training from the NCCP (National Coaches Certification Program), the PMBIA (Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association), or an alternative association.  To learn more about staff credentials, please consult the affiliated business of interest.
